IPI supports the “Ville de Pézenas”, a French municipality, in the preparation of its application for the UNESCO Creative Cities Network, in the field of “Crafts & Folk Art”.
The UNESCO Creative Cities Network was created to promote the social, economic and cultural development of cities that seek to promote local creativity. This Network seeks to develop international cooperation among cities that have identified creativity as a strategic factor for sustainable development, in partnerships, including the public and private sectors, professional organizations, communities, civil society and cultural institutions.
