The EUCF European Initiative was launched in the fall of 2020. Since then, seven calls for applications have been launched, along with seven project implementation periods. IPI has participated in the EUCF since its beginning, collaborating with municipalities and groups of municipalities, both in the preparation of applications and in the development of the respective projects once the applications are approved.
At IPI, we know how crucial this European Initiative can be in effectively laying the groundwork for the implementation of investment projects in the field of renewable energy and energy efficiency, but also in other areas such as sustainable mobility and innovative energy infrastructure. The preparation of Investment Concepts under the EUCF European Initiative is complex and challenging, as is the energy sector. It is a sector that is both dynamic and volatile, requiring specialized and highly mature work. It involves a very wide and diverse range of data, calculations, and analyses, with robust technical, legal, economic, and financial foundations. It also requires extensive consultation and involvement of stakeholders in order to consolidate a truly successful ecosystem.
In the context of the EUCF, we have worked for a total of 16 municipalities, from individual projects to projects for groups of municipalities, namely for the regions of Guarda, Terra Fria Transmontana, and Terra Quente Transmontana. More recently, in the context of the 6th EUCF Call, we have also been working for the Municipality of Sertã to develop another ambitious Investment Concept.
Now it is the turn of Lamego and Torre de Moncorvo to place their trust in IPI to develop their Investment Concepts.
